On October 18, the beneficiation system of Zambia Ruida Wet Plant Project undertaken by 15MCC was successfully put into trial operation, marking that the project has officially entered the stage of trial operation with material load. This project is an important achievement of 15MCC in promoting the innovative cooperation model of "engineering for resources" in Africa.
The Ruida wet plant project adopts the "EPC+O" general contracting model, and 15MCC is responsible for the design, procurement, construction and 10-year operation management, and exchanges engineering construction and operation services for mineral resource rights and interests. The project is designed to process 200,000 tons of copper ore and 3,000 tons of cathode copper annually. Through the "project for resources" model, 15MCC gives full play to its advantages in technology, management and capital to help the local area transform resource advantages into development momentum and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Since the start of the project, 15MCC has scientifically coordinated equipment procurement, construction, commissioning and operation, overcome difficulties such as inconvenient transportation and logistics obstruction, and demonstrated efficient execution capabilities and professional project management levels. The successful test run will not only lay the foundation for the follow-up operation of the project, but also effectively extend the local resource industry chain, increase the added value of products, create employment opportunities, and fulfill corporate overseas social responsibilities.
