From September 27 to 28, 2025, the Third Non-Coal Mining Machinery Continuous Mining Equipment and Technology Development Conference was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The Conference on Non-Coal Mining Machinery Continuous Mining Equipment and Technology Development is a national academic exchange conference co-sponsored by the Mechanical Mining Committee of China Nonferrous Metals Society and Mining and Metallurgy Science and Technology Group Co. The first two conferences were held in Beijing in 2023 and Kunming in 2024. The conference has set up an important platform for academic exchange, product release and technical cooperation for the industry, and has become an academic conference with high specifications, great influence and strong specialization in China. The conference is organized by China Nonferrous Metals Society, Mining and Metallurgy Science and Technology Group Corporation, Wuhan University, and the company is involved in the hosting. The conference is themed with "promoting mechanical mining equipment innovation and technological progress, leading the development of non-coal mine mining industry digital intelligence", covering mechanical rock-breaking equipment and technology, mechanical mining process and technology, safety risk early warning and prevention and control, etc., which attracted more than 300 people from well-known enterprises, scientific research colleges and universities across the country, as well as invited experts, gathered together to seek common development. During the conference, Liang Lei made a thematic report entitled "Research on the integration process of underground mining, processing and charging of metal mines based on mechanical mining". He shared the company's research results with the delegates from three aspects, including the current situation of the development of non-ferrous metal mining, the concept of underground mining, processing and charging integration, and the main research direction in the future. The content of the report aroused great interest among the delegates, and many industry experts and enterprise representatives came to 15MCC.
