On October 29, Xu Feng, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of China Nonferrous Metals Group, conducted a work inspection at 15MCC. The inspection focused on supervising and advancing key tasks including the study and dissemination of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, Party conduct and integrity building, and risk and hidden hazard management.
Xu Feng emphasized that studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee must be treated as a major political task for the present and the period ahead. He called for strengthening theoretical grounding and enhancing the sense of responsibility in fulfilling the Group's mission as the “two main forces.” The company should focus on its goal of becoming “a world-class copper smelting engineering enterprise and an industry-leading comprehensive mining service provider,” develop a high-quality 15th Five-Year Plan, and contribute greater strength to the Group's development.
Xu Feng demanded deepening efforts to prevent corruption risks in key areas and continuously fostering a favorable environment for entrepreneurship. He called for courageously turning the knife inward to thoroughly identify significant integrity risks hindering the enterprise's high-quality development, and for effectively implementing the Group Party Committee's recently deployed special risk investigation initiative. Traditional perceptions must be transformed to recognize evolving circumstances and tasks, enhance risk prevention awareness, and resolutely pursue green, clean, compliant, and safe development. Each identified risk must be thoroughly analyzed: immediate rectification should be implemented for issues that can be addressed promptly, while major and common risks require specialized governance. Systematically addressing one category of risks will drive significant improvements in governance capabilities across entire domains.
Relevant officials from the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Nonferrous Metal Group participated in the research visit.
